The fence is right in the heart of London about three minutes walk from Bond Street tube station.
Go to this London Underground journey planner to plan your trip to visit the fence.
Come and visit the fence soon!
Lunch time
If the fence itself doesn't offer enough cultural satisfaction, you could pop in to see The Wallace Collection in Manchester Square round the corner, It's not as well known as other London galleries and is well worth a visit. Not least because it has an excellent restaurant.
Pub
Galleries aside, the fence is a few yards away from two great pubs. The O'Connor Don and The Golden Eagle.
Chips
The O'Connor Don pub is traditionally Irish (without the fighting) and has tons of waiters and waitresses hovering, willing to serve your every whim. Most of them anyway. The chips are 'like a wee slice of Ireland' - really - they're remarkable. Mine's a pint of Harp.
Checkout those chips. Your Fencemaster thought you should see them to believe them, so took this discrete photograph to celebrate the Ironing board. (£4.00 per bowl, complete with salad and garlic mayonnaise.)
You don't fancy a pint?
OK then, pop into the Sunflower Cafe, which is ideally positioned almost opposite the fence, across Marylebone Lane. Have a cup of Coffee, watch the world go by, and enjoy the fence.
When you've learned about the fence go and have a nose round The Wallace Collection. Web site, not forgetting Cafe_Bagatelle. (that's what the restaurant is called).
